Good afternoon Lyndhurst Soccer Club Members,

It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce that Lyndhurst Youth Soccer Club has applied for and been accepted into New Jersey Youth Soccer’s (NJYS) Innovate to Grow Program!!!

Innovate to Grow is offered by NJYS through a grant from the US Soccer Federation.  The  main goal of this initiative is to promote continued growth of grassroots youth soccer programs and to maintain soccer as a top sport thought the United States.   NJYS has re-focused efforts in northern New Jersey and we are very proud to have been selected for participation.  A special thanks to NJYS Innovate to Grow Program Consultant and District Commissioner David Ricca who has worked closely with us over the past couple months to become members of NJYS and gain acceptance to this exciting program.

Participating in this extraordinary program affords Clubs like ours the opportunity to take part in initiatives centered around:  player and coach development; community engagement; player health and safety; event/tournament promotion; sponsorship and much much more!!

Our new partnership with NJYS and participation in these programs provides Lyndhurst Soccer with additional support as we continuously strive to improve our Club and the playing experience afforded to all players and Club Members!!  Please read the NJYS news announcement at the link provided below.

The future is bright!!  Keep watching for updates in the upcoming months and we’ll see you all…..out on the field!!!

Lyndhurst Soccer News

By Joe Baratta - LYSC President 06/08/2021, 10:30am EDT

Sunday June 6th 2021 was a great day for Lyndhurst Soccer!!

We would like to announce that three of our Travel Program Teams have won the NCSA Spring 2021 League Championships within their flights!!!!

Our congratulations go out to all the Players, Coaches, Parents and Supporters of these teams.  It is a tremendous accomplishment to win a league championship especially at the high levels that these teams are competing.  This is truly a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Players, Coaches and Parents.  Each of these teams have been together for years, starting in lower flights and progressing to the higher flights they now play in.  Over that time, these groups have continued to focus on player and coach development both as individuals and as teams.  Throughout that process there are many wins, loses and ties, but when a season culminates in a Championship win it is a wonderful reward to the team for their hard work and dedication!!

Very Exciting Times for Lyndhurst Soccer!!!!

Congratulations to the NCSA Spring 2021 League Champions:

2007 Boys -   U 14  -   A Flight Champions  (Coaches: Rob Dasler; Mike Carrion)

2009 Girls  -  U 12  -  A Flight Champions  (Coaches:  Jorge Amaral; Joe Baratta; Lou Serodio)

2010 Girls -   U 11  -  B Flight Champions (Coaches: John Montillo; Dana Marino)

The Lyndhurst Youth Soccer Club thanks and congratulates ALL TEAMS competing this year and encourages everyone to continue to focus on developing players and teams in a safe, fun and competitive environment!!  We look forward to sharing more of these wonderful achievements in the future!!

See you.....out on the field!!!
